This is a Canon New FD 24mm F2.8 S.S.C. (Super Spectra Coating), a famous wide-angle lens.
It's an old lens that has recently regained popularity.

■Appearance
There are scratches and minor imperfections due to age, but there are no major dents or cracks, and it is in practical condition.

■Optics
When viewed in strong light, there is some dust, slight mold, and slight clouding inside due to age.
It is not completely cloudy, and except in situations like backlighting, I did not feel any serious issues that would obviously affect the image quality during normal shooting (including checking through a smartphone).
It is recommended for those who want to enjoy the soft rendering typical of old lenses.

■Operation
・Aperture blades: Operate crisply and smoothly without oil stains.
・Focus ring (helicoid): Rotates throughout the range, but due to aging, there are areas where the rotation resistance (torque) is not consistent (some areas are slightly heavier or lighter).
Focusing itself can be done without any problems, but please be aware of this if you are looking for the smoothness of a new product.
