Vintage OOAK framed original oil painting on canvas of a tiny cabin by a pond. This pretty painting is so charning! It portrays a tiny cabin, by a pond, nestled in a snowy forest with a majestic pastel sky and mountain. The painting is professionally framed in a beveled wooden frame with a gold painted finish. The composition has a dreamy feel and is expertly rendered in soft pastel colors with textured brush strokes. The pictures cannot capture the beauty of this piece and it must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. It would make a great gift!
The painting is in good vintage condition, but there is some light cracking to the finish. The frame is also in very good vintage condition with only slight scratching and wear as expected with age and normal usage. On the back of painting are notes written by the frame shop and the date, 11/13/84.
The outside of the frame measures approximately 25"W x 29"H and the inside is about 19.5"W x 23.5"H.
