Beautiful antique round eyeglasses dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
Features gold-filled rims with nickel silver S-bridge and long wire cable temples that wrap comfortably behind the ear — a classic design of the period. The frames show age-appropriate patina and surface wear, including some areas where the gold-filled layer shows brass underneath (see photos). Lenses are intact with minor marks from age.
A wonderful example of early optical craftsmanship, ideal for collectors, display, or historical reenactment.
