This listing is for a vintage c. 1930s Rosenthal Selb-Germany teacup with fine silver overlay by Spahr & Co. The mark on the base appears to date to 1934, but could be later. The silver overlay work was done by Spahr & Co and is marked along the exterior rim of the cup. Both the cup and saucer are marked 1000, implying the silver overlay is fine silver (more or less 100%).
The cup and saucer are just under 2 inches tall when together. The saucer has a diameter of a little over 4-3/4 inches.
The teacup is in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks. Please see photos.
